The hyperobject

The best object is no object.

Digital industrial design: physical objects that can be manipulated by the human body. However the objects themselves do not have to be physical, the only thing that does is the human body. So the objects can be free, everchanging. Polymorphic.

I must consider the limitations or shape of the human body. Fingers can only extend so far from a hand, this is likely why controllers feel nice, they are well considered.

Side project: what would a perfectly 3D rendered hyperobject controller look like if you could just render it? No physical printing capabilities, what is the perfect object for the human hand to manipulate for input.

Ideas you can touch

If we can instantly create objects or hyperobjects that has an entirely new surface for us to interact with. What if we can make ideas, abstract hyper-objects that you can interact with and touch? What if you point intelligence towards physical things? Point information towards physical things. Point links, notes, words, and related concepts towards objects that you can move around, touch, but also associate with real world objects. Will most people want to do that? Will there actually be any reason to associate the real world with the digital world? Or is that just something that I'm clinging to because it feels normal? When really the future will be so much stranger.

Everything as HTML

So tldr the main point is everything as HTML, it's a hyperobject: dynamic, polymorphic. The system exposes to you the soft fleshy parts that you can interact with, it gently raises it up towards you (like that one table made up of the little columns that can hand you things etc).

See Maybe it's just HTML.

The digital spanner

There is such a thing as a spanner, what is the digital spanner?

Maybe it's just HTML

Render everything as HTML, fast TPS presets for similar patterns.

Just use a webcam

The best VR headsets just have cameras on them.
