Augmented Reality
When we finally get decent enough AR glasses I think there will be a lot of new paradigms and social norms that arise.
(Arguably this is also an interfaces question.)
Notes
Adding or removing
I guess everything is either adding or removing information/noise.
Layers
There will be a digital world, and there will be ads in it.
Shared layers
AR glasses would mean you just render the image in shared space together.
Visual walls
I have the right to deprive as many of my senses as I want.
What is this?
A "what is this" for any object you see.
Faces
Privacy is fully gone in public.
Ordinary days
The future will have abundant 3b1b animations.
The digital spanner
There is such a thing as a spanner, what is the digital spanner?
Will we gesture at all?
All this work on gestures, and yet I don't think we will be gesturing that much
The body as input
Hands, everyone has them. Can be very intuitive and natural.
Input devices
There is either input or output.
Typing with six gestures
How do we type efficiently in public with only six gestures?
The hyperobject
The best object is no object.
Just use a webcam
The best VR headsets just have cameras on them.
Voice is not the ideal interface
It is completely linear, a single stream.
A live ad-blocker
I never want to see an ad again.
